Solemn Communion

Solemn Communion is a rite of passage for children in 2nd or 3rd grade. While baptized children of all ages are welcome to receive Holy Communion, some families choose to have their children wait to receive until they’re old enough to begin learning about what Holy Communion is and how God uses it to work in our hearts and lives. Other families, while they encourage their child to receive Holy Communion, still choose to have their child participate in our Solemn Communion program.

The program is six-eight weeks long, and culminates with a Solemn Communion service on the third Sunday of the Easter Season.
